Guster is the best!
In my book, Our Lady Peace is always a 5-star experience. The openers were just OK, but they didn't disappoint! The mix of older and newer songs was great. Adam "paddle boarded" over the crowd to get to the mid-crowd B-stage for a 3-song acoustic set. The "Secret Sisters" were not the right band to have before the headliners, stating that "we don't sing Happy songs, you might be depressed after hearing us." Thompson's point is beautiful, but an outdoor venue has its pitfalls. The field turned into a mud pit after a hard 10-minute rain before the show. We had to trudge back to our car to put away our low beach chairs and blankets since the Ticketmaster website didn't provide that info. Despite pre-paying for parking, we were pretty far away and it took an hour to get out of the lot. The food trucks and vendors on-site are overpriced, but I'll bring my own food next time. Overall, I give it 3 stars for the whole experience.
